In Texas, First Tennessee Foundation provides grants to eligible nonprofits in the Houston area.

Organizations we’ve supported in Texas include:

Dress for Success

Founded in 1998, Dress for Success Houston provides business attire, job retention and career advancement services to women in the Houston community. Through our support, we served 50 local women with pre-employment assistance and led a ‘Finance 101’ presentation for women going through program in summer 2018. First Tennessee Bank’s Women’s Initiative Employee Resource Group (ERG) hosts an annual suit drive and fundraiser for the organization as well.

Emancipation Park Conservancy

The First Tennessee Foundation’s grant was instrumental in helping Emancipation Park continue to uplift the community through their after-school education program.

Rebuilding Together Houston

Rebuilding Together Houston works to allow Houstonians to stay in their homes as long as possible by mitigating health and safety hazards and improving their home's overall stability. Our contribution has helped Rebuilding Together Houston meet the needs of low-income elderly, disabled and veteran homeowners through the organization’s Core Hope Repair programs.
